What is SONASCREEN® 2?
An acoustic camera with 176 microphones captures sounds up to 100 kHz and visualises leaks and electrical discharges that the human ear cannot hear. Results are shown in real time on a 7″ touch display.
Detection of inaudible air leaks and sound events
Compressed air and vacuum leaks, as well as electrical discharges, emit ultrasound outside the range audible to the human ear. The acoustic camera captures these sound events and displays them directly in the image, so we find the location of a leak or discharge without shutting down operations.
Acoustic detection is suitable for compressed air distribution, compressors, vacuum systems and the diagnostics of electrical equipment.
