Why is the PUVV important?
The protocol of external influences (formerly the protocol of the type of environment) is a basis of both initial and periodic inspections (Annex 2 of Government Decree No. 190/2022 Coll., ČSN 33 1500 clauses 4.1 and 4.2); for new equipment the assessment of external influences is part of the accompanying documentation (Section 6(3) of Government Decree No. 190/2022 Coll.). Without it the choice of equipment and protective measures cannot be reliably verified with regard to external influences, and the inspection technician notes the missing document in the report.
It is especially important for areas with a risk of fire or explosion, for wet, dusty and outdoor areas and for electrical stations.
What the protocol contains
- Description of the building and how it is used
- Determination of external influences according to ČSN 33 2000-5-51
- Classification of areas and requirements for the installation
- Basis for the design of protection and the subsequent inspection
When you need it
- Before a periodic inspection of the electrical installation
- For occupancy approval, a change of use or a renovation
- At the request of an insurer, the labour inspectorate or an investor
