A basis for your insurer
We prepare a fault report on the electrical installation for your insurer. The report is based on an inspection and measurements at the specific site of the damage and describes the fault found and its cause from the point of view of an inspection technician. It is not an expert opinion under Act No. 254/2019 Coll. - that can only be issued by a court-appointed expert entered in the register of experts. If your insurer requires one, you need to approach an expert separately.
When the report helps
- Damage after a short circuit, fire or overvoltage
- An unclear cause of a fault in the installation
- An insurer's request for a description of the fault from an inspection technician
