Preparatory course E2A
Scope E2A (Annex 5 of Government Decree No. 190/2022 Coll.): low-voltage electrical equipment up to 1 kV AC / 1.5 kV DC including lightning and overvoltage protection, in areas without explosion hazard. The course covers legislation, inspection procedures, measurement and diagnostics.
Preparatory course E3A
Scope E3A: only equipment for protection against lightning, overvoltage and static electricity (lightning protection, LPS) in areas without explosion hazard. The course covers LPS regulations and standards, measurement and documentation.
Preparatory course for scopes B (E2B, E3B)
The letter B denotes the same scopes for areas with explosion hazard – inspection of electrical equipment and lightning protection in environments with an explosive atmosphere.

Do you hold a preparatory course for electrical inspection technicians?
Yes, in person and online, for the E2A, E3A and B exams. The certificate is issued by TIČR after a successful exam under Act No. 250/2021 Coll. and is valid for 5 years. The exam requires education and practice – at least 4 years for E2A (Government Decree No. 194/2022 Coll.).
