The meter board
This is where electricity enters the building. The distributor usually wants an inspection report for a new metering point, a change of the main circuit breaker, a modified meter board or the connection of a source, such as photovoltaics. The report does not have to cover the whole house, only the part that was worked on (a new board, a supply line).
The construction-site board
A construction site is a harsh environment for electricity: water, dust, impacts and constant moving around. That is why temporary construction-site installations are inspected at least every half year under Annex 4 of Government Decree No. 190/2022 Coll.
Hand tools and extension leads on site have their own intervals under ČSN 33 1600 ed. 2: class I tools and extension leads with a protective conductor are tested every three months, class II tools every six months. The user also checks them before each use.
What is checked on a distribution board
- Degree of enclosure protection (IP), condition and marking
- Checking the values of circuit breakers and testing residual current devices
- Continuity of protective circuits and earthing
- Insulation resistance
- Tightness of connections and possible overheating (thermal imaging on request)
How much it costs
